Living Through Crisis: The Ten Things to Do When Your Life Falls Apart
Along with the high-speed, multi-faceted challenges of the past few years, the holidays themselves can pour on additional layers of stress. Times of crisis, when problems are so huge or stacked up that you feel overwhelmed and out of control, always call on us either to grow or die. When faced with the unimaginable there’s often a tendency simply to do what you’ve always done. And yet, excruciating times are opportunities to find your strength, solve the riddles of your life issues, and contact your spiritual depth. Illness, the ending of a relationship, financial reversals, job loss, business challenges, or the death of someone you love can all carry you into roiling emotional waters; and all these challenges cry out for deep solutions. This workshop is for you if you are in the midst of crisis or have just gone through some very hard things from which you have not emotionally or spiritually recovered. Through meditation, exercises, and group process, we'll use the power of "The Ten" as a new way of living through times which might otherwise have the capacity to drop you off at the doorway to bitterness or leave you in a state of irresolution. Peace, an enlarged capacity to love, spiritual awakening, a capturing of one’s deepest talents, renewal, compassion and grace-these all are the gifts of crisis, and in this workshop, you will claim them. Find true support this holiday season to help you revitalize and strengthen yourself in the very midst of your difficulty.
